William John McCool was an American professional baseball player. The left-handed pitcher played most of his seven-year, Major League Baseball career with the Cincinnati Reds and spent a year each with the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals. He was listed as 6 feet 2 inches tall and 195 pounds.

A recent low cost vintage purchase… I really like this card. Cool name. Has the awesome rookie trophy. Classic “pose” a lot of cards had from the era. The 65 design is very nice too. Has some staining on front and poor ink quality on back which contributes to low grade. Also, I love how his hat is a bit crooked-lefty style.
